Iron Knob is home to many species of mammal, reptile and bird. Our wild life likes to visit right into the heart of the town as it is such a quiet place. We have resident emus who enjoy visiting the locals and you will often see them out and about. These photos are kindly provided by Julia Lock a resident of Iron Knob who really enjoys snapping the varied wild life around town.
